At ERIC, we're committed to maintaining a supportive, relevant & inclusive environment for everyone. To help achieve this, we have established a set of clear rules that all organisations must follow when promoting on ERIC:

1. We do not allow unpaid internships: All internship opportunities posted must offer at least national minimum wage.

2. No Direct Marketing of paid products: Direct marketing of paid products, HE courses, services, or other commercial offerings, except those specified below, is prohibited.

3. Affordable Events & Workshops: The cost for any event or workshop tickets must be £10 or less to ensure accessibility for all our users.

4. No Entry Fees: Competitions, open calls, funding or grants must not have entry fees, or they must provide a number of bursary places for those who can’t afford it.

5. Cost-Effective Learning: Courses or training schemes promoted on ERIC must cost no more than £20. The only exception to this rule is if there are scholarship or bursary space available that we can promote.

6. Accessible Imagery: Any imagery uploaded must be free of text and logos. This helps to ensure that all users can fully engage with the visual content.

7. Editorial & Formatting Discretion: ERIC reserves the right to decide what is promoted on our platform and to ensure the formatting & details are accurate. We ensure that everything aligns with the interests and values of our community.

8. Relevant Content Only: All opportunities and content must be related to career growth or personal development. Self-promotion that does not meet these criteria will not be accepted.

9. Opportunities must be written in third person: All opportunities must be written in third person to give users the context of who the opportunity is with.
